The building is located across the Anzac Parade connecting the university to the NIDA. The stairs of each floor acts as the bridge with people travelling from lower to upper, from the side of the road to the other. The building is composed with several blocks, which is from large to small, from lower to upper.

From the views of the pedestrians on the road, the cars seem like going through a cave.

Due to the main material of the building, concrete, each blocks could embed into another. The north and south facade have more opening because it can give more comfortable sense of lighting.

People could rest on the left stairs, having various activities such as waiting for bus.

The ground floor is a library which is easily accessed and there is a gallery on the first floor. When going up, there are small rooms for studios and offices.
